The West Virginia Young Republicans are a committed group of young professionals, workers, and students committed to growing the Republican Party in West Virginia. Our vision is a Republican Party that works for everyday men and women and rejects the woke liberal agenda that destroys communities and families. For far too long West Virginia suffered under failed liberal leadership and Democratic corruption. Through recruitment, education on conservative principles, and electing candidates with integrity, we will ensure the future of West Virginia and truly live up to our state's motto, "Montani Semper Liberi".
We are the official presence of the Young Republican National Federation in West Virginia.
We believe a free market is the only economic system compatible with a free people. Therefore, we reject intervention in the economy, such as corporate welfare and liberal policies that foster close ties between government and business. We support reducing regulations across all industries and letting markets self-regulate.
We believe that a government that governs best governs least. The role of government in a free society is to protect the rights of citizens, provide for national security - including a secure border, and representing the interests of the people abroad.
We believe the nuclear family and strong communities are the backbone of our nation. We support the development of our local communities and recognize that preserving the family is critical to the security and success of children, economic opportunity, as well as the future of our nation
